drying your black and white prints

I would advise to air-dry black-and-white prints that have been immersed in water. They can be frozen and can be kept frozen until they can be freeze-dried in a vacuum chamber. A treatment of repeated freezing, thawing, and vacuum-drying is not advisable because gelatin layers will probably stick together.
